Privacy Policy
General-purpose draft. This describes how the casting application actually works today, but it has not been reviewed by counsel and is not tailored to any specific jurisdiction. Have a lawyer review it before launch, and fill in the bracketed values.
Vantelle Modeling + Casting (“Vantelle”, “we”, “us”) collects personal information when you apply for representation through this website. This policy explains what we collect, why, who can see it, and how to reach us about it.
Information you give us
When you complete a casting application, you provide:
- Contact and identity details — your name, any preferred name, pronouns, email address, mobile phone number, and the city and region where you are based.
- Professional details — date of birth, height, optional sizing and measurements, areas of interest, current representation status, willingness to travel, optional social media and portfolio links, and your written introduction.
- Media — at least one photograph, and optionally additional photographs and a short introduction video.
Everything marked optional in the form is genuinely optional and can be left blank.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting provider records standard technical data when you visit the site, including your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request. This is used to operate the site, keep it secure, and prevent abuse of the file upload endpoint. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics trackers on this site.
What we never ask for
The application does not request a Social Security number, national insurance number, government identification, banking details, or payment of any kind. There is no fee to apply, and Vantelle will never request payment through this application. Treat any message claiming otherwise as fraudulent and report it to us.
How we use your information
- To review your application for representation and for casting opportunities.
- To contact you about your application, or about a current or future booking that may suit you.
- To send you casting-call updates, but only if you separately opted in. You can withdraw that at any time by replying to any such message or by emailing us.
- To operate and secure the website itself.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your application or media for marketing, and we do not publish submitted media on this website or elsewhere without asking you first.
Who your information reaches
Applications are reviewed by Vantelle staff involved in representation and casting decisions. We also rely on service providers who process data on our behalf:
- Cloudflare — website hosting and file storage.
- Resend — delivery of the notification email containing your application.
Where a specific casting requires sharing your details with a client or production, we will ask you first. We may also disclose information where we are legally required to do so.
Where your media is stored
Uploaded photographs and video are held in a private storage bucket that is not publicly addressable. Links to your media included in internal notifications are time-limited and expire. Application data is transmitted over encrypted connections.
No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to the sensitivity of what you have shared.
How long we keep it
We retain applications and media for [INSERT RETENTION PERIOD] so that we can consider you for future opportunities, after which they are deleted. You can ask us to delete your application sooner at any time — see below.
Your choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to withdraw consent you previously gave. To exercise any of these, email hello@vantellemodeling.com. We will respond within the period required by applicable law. We will not treat you differently for making a request.
International transfers
Vantelle operates from [INSERT COUNTRY], and our service providers may process data in other countries. Where information is transferred across borders, we rely on appropriate safeguards offered by those providers.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices change. The date below reflects the current version. Material changes affecting applications already submitted will be communicated to the contact details on file.
